My name is Panh Nha Song and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am bilingual in Hmong and English. I came to the US as a refugee from Thailand when I was a year old and have experienced growing up and struggling with my own identity between two different cultures. Although filing was difficult, I eventually became a US citizen. I am married and have four kids but lost my oldest child to cancer when he was 24 years old. I am also a happy grandma of 3. No one is without needing help. I too had my own therapist to see. Yes, I’ve had some life experiences that sure taught me important lessons and made me the empathetic person that I am today. I am grateful to many people who helped me along my journey and just want to share my gift with others.
I have over 10 years of experience working in healthcare, in day treatment for adolescents, a homeless shelter, and vocational rehabilitation. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay with a Bachelors in Human Development and graduated from Lakeland University with a Master of Arts in Counseling.
As your therapist, my goal is to help give you the hope and healing you need to reach your goals, find happiness, and be the best version of yourself. I believe that individuals from all diverse backgrounds are created with equal worth and thus all deserve to be given the help they need. My hope is for us to develop a relationship where you can trust me, be honest with me, and feel safe, knowing that I am here to listen, support, and accept you for who you are and will not judge you. I am here to walk alongside you in your journey to growth and wellness. I believe in taking a holistic approach that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit to reach your goal.
